Find friend, Family - my father roy albert digby

i am looking for my father his full name is roy albert digby he would of been born sometime in the 1940's, I think as I was born in 1969 I would really like to find him I unfortunately no longer live in the UK but can get there within a day when he married my mum he lived in the borough of lewisham he worked at a sugar refinery as a press hand I know where he was born as well but this will be my key question
